Real Food Rising, a program of Utah Community Action, is an urban farm and youth development program that empowers teens through sustainable agriculture while increasing access to healthy food in SLC.

This September, Real Food Rising will host its annual fall farm celebration fundraiser. This community event features a farm-to-table meal made with Real Food Rising produce and celebrates the accomplishments of the program. Join us in celebrating the fall harvest while recognizing youth crew workers, community partners, funders, volunteers, and sponsors. Activities will include farm tours, West African dancing and drumming, a photo booth, games, a silent auction, opportunity drawings, youth speeches and live music.

Fall Celebration is a part of Utah Eat Local Week (September 10-17th), a statewide program that celebrates the regional harvest season by promoting local agriculture, honoring the preservation of Utah’s agricultural heritage, and empowering the community to make conscious food choices.
